Chapter 1:
Introduction
Teaching Technology and livelihood Education should be delivering in an Interactive classroom Climate. Students nowadays, are easily bored if there is nothing to learn. As the number of students population increases the more teachers to teach and facilitate more. Technology and livelihood Education deals with the technical and vocational course that helps student to be more trained. The purpose of it is to give the students the opportunity to work even they only finished Secondary level. And the daily basis of teaching technology and livelihood education is all about the result of the practical projects. Teachers are also expected to be more inventive and resourceful in sending the lesson to the students that are hard to get there attention. Developing cognitive skills depends on the student’s environment, behavior and how the teacher motivates students. Technology and livelihood Education offers also the part of improving students’ socialization through teamwork projects. Every subject is hard to understand particularly those major subjects perhaps, the organized thing to do is to put standardized and ladderized curriculum.
Background of the Study
Interactive teaching is the term given to a strategy/style of teaching developed through research undertaken as part of the Learning in Science Project (LISP) at Waikato University in the 80s.
The concept that every learner makes (constructs) their own meaning from any experience is called constructivism and underlies aspects the curriculum frameworks currently being used. To confuse the issue however, the idea of defining specific learning objectives for students to achieve, which is also part of recent world-wide curriculum developments is in many ways in conflict with a constructivist philosophy.

TLE is a subject about home economics, family values, anything about basic living and your lifestyle at home. It has a typical curriculum about latest technology inventions and practical technical courses with the addition of livelihood education. It is one of the learning areas of the Secondary Education Curriculum used in Philippine secondary schools.
The word “cognition” is defined as “the act of knowing” or “knowledge.” Cognitive skills therefore refer to those skills that make it possible for us to know.It should be noted that there is nothing that any human being knows, or can do, that he has not learned. This of course excludes natural body functions, such as breathing, as well as the reflexes, for example the involuntary closing of the eye when an object approaches it. But apart from that a human being knows nothing, or cannot do anything, that he has not learned. Therefore, all cognitive skills must be taught.
Theoretical Framework
The extensive body of knowledge on how we learn speaks of the phases we go through as we learn. Skills taught don’t become ingrained and truly learned until they are practiced. And proficiency only comes with repetition and experience. Traditional classroom training, based on lectures, presentations and maybe an occasional exercise, can only bring you to a level we call Student. At this level, you’ve heard information but had no chance to practice it. Often courses provide follow-up exercises or offer to sell additional tools like books and tapes to help root the knowledge and skills.
It is also stated by Albert Bandura, that learning is based on what we observes, imitates and sees. Through a proper teaching and modeling of lessons we can inculcate all of the lessons easily. And with the help of Lev Vygotsky’s theory of social constructivism, the ZAD (zone of proximal development) is the difference between what a learner can do without help and what he or she can do with help. And through own learning of the student his\her confidence will boost to discover things without the help of a teacher. One fact, is that discovery learning is also a good way of teaching students to practice their cognitive capacity.
Conceptual Framework
Interaction between students and teacher can create a massive form of learning which takes place in verbal, visual and auditory. Understanding every concepts of lessons can make a teacher and students stressed. That's why dressing up a new way of presenting the lesson can stimulate the student's attention and the retention will takes place because the learned it with action. Activities gives a strong bond of learning, connection and interaction inside the classroom.
Statement Of the problem
What is the main reason of poor retention in learning and why the student's are easily get bored when the teacher starts to teach the lesson. What is the best solution to get the attention of students to learn. How it will help students to learn more and easily?
What are the common problems inside the classroom that affects the learning?
How can you use the interactive learning in class?
How it affects the student's learning?
What will happened to the classroom climate while using interactive teaching?
Significance of study
This is an alternative solution for technological aids used in teaching. It does not need to be more on technology but it focuses in functional areas. It gives a good advice to the future teachers and there will be no trial and error in experimenting new ways in teaching. And it will give the students a good foundation of learning because learning is not focused in lecturing but it is also in interacting.
Once that the teacher apply the interactive learning in his/her class, definitely it will be a good way to dress up the traditional teaching to a new and conventional way. Perhaps, the delivery and the way of teaching interactive must be showed properly to avoid misunderstanding.

Scope and Limitations
It is for the 4th year Technological and livelihood Education students because they are now on the field of teaching as their training ground. And the 4th students of T.L.E. majors can also share their experiences in teaching and what are the problems that made them more resourceful.
It is more convenient to ask and interview fellow University of Caloocan City major in Technology and Livelihood program 4th year students because it helps us to save money, time and effort. And the most important thing is that 4th year students are more trained and well experienced in teaching field.
